This research project aimed to further examine the uncanny valley phenomenon- which is the hypothesized relationship between the degree of an object's (more commonly robots) resemblance to a human being and the emotional response to said object. We examined the effects of gender differences on the percieved human likeness of non-human agents. An online survey was used to implement this study and the results suggest that the mind perception is more readily ascribe to the non-human agents when the gender of the observer and agents do not match.
